    Wilfried Lhomme

    Senior Crowd TD at DNEG

Wilfried Lhomme began his career in France as an animator before moving to Canada, where he continued his career. He initially worked as a 3D generalist until the COVID-19 pandemic led him to transition into crowd work. He took his first steps in the crowds while working on PAW Patrol: The Movie at Mikros Animation, a key turning point in his career.

From there, he fully specialized in crowds and is now a Senior Crowd TD at DNEG. He has built his experience at major international studios such as Digital Domain, Framestore, and DNEG, as well as in animation studios including ON Animation and Mikros Animation.

    • I am thankful to have had Wilfried join our team at Digital Domain to help us out with some major Marvel projects. He worked on both episodic projects and a major feature film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This was his first job working with Houdini Crowds, and he did a fine job! He took critiques well and genuinely worked to improve both his technical and artistic skills.

    • In his first days joining the team, Wilfried nearly finalled a complex shot during his training period. He has very strong technical knowledge and understanding, a great attitude, and is a fantastic team member. I immediately appreciated the way he listened and was keen to learn. He asked the right questions and took the initiative to work on his shots. He ended up with an incredibly complex deliverable and had something to show nearly every day.
